Are you feeling called to ordained ministry, or might you be supporting someone who is candidating to train as a deacon or presbyter?
“Feeling Called” is an evening exploring the Methodist Church processes for those who are discerning their call to ordained ministry. It is an opportunity to learn more about what happens, to meet with others in a similar position and to ask questions of those who support the process. “Feeling Called” is facilitated by the Candidates Secretaries and the Discipleship and Ministries Learning Network. Download a poster giving details here ... or contact Tricia as below... Please note that the venue is still to be confirmed.
I am sorry to say that due to unforeseeable circumstances we need to reschedule the ‘Feeling Called’ evening which was planned for 10 February.
This event will now take place on Monday 9 May. (Venue to be confirmed.)
Please can you help by passing on the new date to anyone you are aware of locally who may have been interested in coming. (I will personally contact those who had advised me of their intention to attend, but I am concerned that some people may just go along.)
Feeling Called on 9th May is open to anyone considering candidating whether in the coming year or perhaps at a future time. Please urge anyone who may be thinking about candidating in 2016/17 (beginning in August this year) to contact either myself or Alan Coustick as we can help them to access support before the process begins.
Thank you very much for your help.
