More responsibilities are being devolved to the District. Certain ‘standing’ committees/bodies are required by standing orders and new ways of working will be considered before the spring Synod 2009.
- Synod SO 410-419 – currently exploring how Synod is used to meet aims and purposes of the district.
- Policy Committee SO 402, 431-439- will become the District Development Oversight Group (constitution and way of functioning still to be agreed)

- Manses Committee SO 472 (could be sub-group of Property Committee)

- Appraisal Group (to become Annual Development Review Group)
- Safeguarding Group
